Reading this website

This site provides articles and manufacturer information links. It has no visitor accounts, contact forms, newsletter signup, checkout or payment collection. Google Analytics, advertising pixels and optional visitor tracking are not active. We do not send browsing events to Google Analytics or set analytics cookies.

Hosting and technical information

Cloudflare Pages delivers this website. Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses, routing information and traffic data to provide and protect its services. Its network operations can involve security and operational records. This processing is separate from optional analytics.

Cloudflare operates globally. Information may be processed outside Canada, including in the United States and European Economic Area, where laws and lawful access arrangements can differ. Cloudflare explains its practices in its Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.

If you contact us

When you email us, we use your reply address, message and any information you choose to include to respond, investigate corrections, handle privacy requests or resolve the matter you raise. Email delivery involves the service providers used to transmit and store the message. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, identity documents or other sensitive information unless we agree a necessary and appropriate way to provide it.

We limit use and disclosure of correspondence to handling those matters, obtaining necessary service support, protecting our operations, or meeting legal requirements. We do not add correspondents to a marketing list.

Retention and safeguards

We keep correspondence and necessary resolution records only while they serve the purpose for which they were collected or a legal or business need requires retention. We then delete or de-identify information when appropriate. We limit access to information under our control and use reasonable safeguards.

Cloudflare’s technical-data retention depends on its processing purposes and applicable contractual or legal obligations, as described in its policies. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for provider-controlled operational records.

Your choices and requests

You can ask about our handling of your personal information, request access or correction, or withdraw consent where applicable. Contact the Owner / Privacy contact using the address above. We may ask for enough information to identify the relevant record and verify the request. We respond under the applicable requirements and explain any limits on what we can provide or change.

British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act provides privacy rights within its scope. Federal privacy law can also apply to relevant commercial transfers across provincial or international borders. You may raise a privacy concern with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

External links and changes

Manufacturer links take you to independent websites with their own privacy practices. Our current product links are not affiliate links.

If we introduce optional analytics, affiliate tracking or another collection purpose, we will update this policy and obtain any consent required before starting that processing. We will identify material changes here.

Optional analytics is currently off. We will ask for your choice before enabling optional analytics.
